Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas was founded in Boyle Heights, California in 2007 by Maricela Martinez.
With the undertaking to present a professional mariachi group with not only a traditional and extensive repertoire; but one that also offered a level of musicianship of high quality , exceptional customer service and that was available for a wide range of events.
Every performance by these gifted women is filled with passion, beauty, charisma and demonstrates their love for their art and culture.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES AND CLIENTS
Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas have also collaborated in various events projects with Red Bull Music, the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF), LAC+ USC Medical Center, and Care More.
In 2018, they recorded at Red Bull Music Studios a mariachi version of recording artist Cuco’s, hit song “Amor De Siempre” they also filmed soon to be released music video of the same song with Cuco.
In 2018 they have also recorded for the film score for “Ve’, a Thesis Short film for producer Zubadaah Wajid (LMU Loyola Myramount University).
With the song "Somewhere Over The Wall" with lyrics by Maricela Martinez and music by Jorge Contreras.
In 2015, Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas had a special appearance for a posthumous tribute to the “Queen of Mariachi” Laura Sobrino at Mariachi USA Festival at the prestigious Hollywood Bowl.
This talented group of women are also a frequent guest band for many of the well known mariachi dinner show restaurants such as La Fonda “La Casa del Mariachi” as well as Jose Hernandez’s Cielito Lindo Restaurant Dinner show, the Ixtapa Cantina Pasadena where they also accompany many of the talented mariachi soloist in the Los Angeles area. They are also the go-to band for many events held at cultural venues throughout Los Angeles, as well as LA Plaza de Cultura , City of San Gabriel , City of La Puente, and City of Los Angeles .
